Having a good fantasy draft sets a team up really well, but most of the time to win a fantasy football league, acquisitions need to be made during the season. Each week there are several players worth exploring on the waiver wire. Here are fantasy football players to add week 16. (Note: These are best used for standard scoring leagues. All players are rostered in less than 50 percent of ESPN leagues)

1. Blake Courm, RB, Los Angeles Rams

Corum continues to get a decent amount of work for the Rams. Their offense is so good that they are supporting two running backs over the last three weeks. He had 81 yards and a touchdown in week 13. In week 14, he totaled 128 rushing yards and two touchdowns. This past week against the Lions, he had 71 rushing yards and one touchdown.

Kyren Williams is still the lead back, but the work has been more of an even split. They are using Corum to keep Williams fresh, but he gets enough work and is producing enough to be rostered in every league. Starting him every week could be tough, but when the matchups are right, he can be started. He is rostered in just 29.7 percent of ESPN leagues.

2. Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Washington Commanders

Chris Rodriguez was out with a groin injury against the Giants and Jacory Croskey-Merritt had one of his best performances of the season. He carried the ball 18 times for 96 yards and one touchdown, as the lead back on running downs, while Jeremy McNichols handled the passing-down work.

Rodriguez’s injury will have to be tracked, but Croskey-Merritt can be added in case. Like Corum, he can be played based on the matchup and on Rodriguez’s injury status. He is rostered in 47.9 percent of ESPN leagues.

3. Jayden Reed, WR, Green Bay Packers
