Master Chief Officially Announced for Fortnite and is Playable Now

After a lot of speculation and leaks, Master Chief will be joining the Fortnite universe. This one was a bit surprising but when they said all of the hunters of the known universes would be joining Jonesy, they were not kidding. Master Chief does not come alone as Blood Gultch will also be in creative mode as a capture the flag map as well. But, when is Master Chief playable?

Coming out of a convenience store freezer, Master Chief is officially coming to Fornite and it was revealed that he would be playable the night of the reveal, December 10, 2020.

As Fortnite tries to make Super Smash Brothers-like crossovers, there are apparently more “hunters” or major characters for other universes coming to the game. If Epic Games and Fortnite wanted to stay fresh, this is an incredible way of doing so. With Halo Infinite coming out soon, this is the perfect way to get the franchise back in the spotlight.

Star Wars did this recently as well with the Mandalorian joining the game as well. It is all about getting in front of as many people as possible and Fortnite does this as well or better than anyone else in the world.
