On March 20, White Fox arrived on the battlegrounds of Marvel Rivals as the 48th hero, the newest support addition in the game. Not only were gamers promised White Fox, but also the addition of Felicia Hardy, Black Cat, who is set to release on April 17. Along with a brand-new character, Marvel Rivals will also receive balancing adjustments.
These changes come in the form of the standard seasonal buffs, nerfs, and even a new Chain-Crowd Control protection mechanic. So, everybody is prepared for this mid-season. Here is the complete breakdown of the Marvel Rivals Patch Notes for Season 7.5
Marvel Rivals Balance Patch Notes
Before diving into all of the hero changes and new additions lets take a look at a new mechanic,
was implemented by the folks over at NetEase, ensuring combat remains fluid and fair
If a Hero suffers 5.5 seconds of total CC duration or is hit by 6 CC effects within a 7-second window, Chain-CC Protection activates. Once activated, instantly purge all active CC effects and grants the Hero 30% Tenacity for 3 seconds.
Tenacity reduces the duration of incoming CC in proportion. While active, every new CC effect applied to the Hero increases their Tenacity by 10% and extends the buff’s duration by 0.5 seconds.
If Tenacity reaches 100%, the Hero becomes completely CC Immune until the buff expires. During this window, incoming CC will not grant further Tenacity or extend the Immunity duration.
