The Los Angeles Gladiators are making moves to turn their season around during the mid-season break. Last week the Los Angeles Gladiators released long-time OWL standout Dante “ Danteh ” Cruz following a disappointing split at tank for the Glads. Danteh’s transition from part-time specialist tank to full-time tank was not as successful as LAG would have hoped, and the team has decided to look towards another familiar name to right the ship.

On Saturday June 29, the Los Angeles Gladiators announced the signing of former Seoul Dynasty and Los Angeles Valiant tank Min-seo “ Marve1 ” Hwang. Marve1 spent the first half of the year playing in Korean Contenders with O2 Blast. After rolling over the competition at the Contenders level, Marve1 gains another change to prove himself in the Overwatch League.
Marve1 entered the league back in 2019 with the Seoul Dynasty, where he played just a bit of everything for his team. He was swapped back and forth between main tank and off-tank duties for the Dynasty, and was often a solid piece in a successful Dynasty squad.
