The Boston Uprising are having an offseason to remember. When the free agency window opened, the Boston Uprising came out swinging by announcing six new players for their roster. The revealed team was packed with talent and big names that took the entire league by surprise. Now in the new year, the news doesn’t stop rolling in.

On Monday January 2, the Boston Uprising announced the signing of tank Woo-yeol “Kalios” Shin and support Joo-seok “Twilight” Lee.

Kalios joins the Uprising after spending the 2021 season with the Washington Justice. Kalios split time with teammate and former Boston tank Tae-sung “Mag” Kim, up until Mag’s departure mid way through the season. The Justice struggled in the back half of the season finishing with a regular season record of 11-13. Kalios now heads to where his Overwatch League career started.

Boston’s newest tank is also one of Boston’s first off-tanks in franchise history. He now rejoins former teammate Nam-joo “Striker” Kwon in hopes to recapture that Inaugural Season magic.
